NAKASEC executive director, Steve Sungkyu Yun, has left the organization with an interest in pursuing his studies. NAKASEC sincerely thanks Steve for his tremendous dedication and important contributions to NAKASEC during his two-year tenure. And, we wish him the best in his future endeavors.
Taking over from Steve is EunSook Lee, no stranger to NAKASEC. From 1996 to 1998, EunSook was our Associate Director in the New York office, before moving to Los Angeles to become our West Coast Director (1998 – 2000). More recently, she was the executive director of the Chicago-based Korean American Women In Need, a non-profit women’s organization focused on domestic violence and sexual assault services & education.
